Ken Aversa is vice president of Customer Service Operations for the Government Business Division of WellPoint, Inc. In this position, Mr. Aversa oversees an enterprise-wide department comprised of technology services and solutions. He oversees all support services, processes and technology for internal and external customers, including health plans, associates and corporate departments, as well as plan members, providers and state governments.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Aversa served as leader of customer service operations at Amerigroup. His prior experience includes 14 years at Capital One, serving in a variety of operational leadership positions with a call and contact center focus. Previously, he spent four years with Household Credit Services and 10 years with American Express. Mr. Aversa is a graduate of Columbia University and earned his master’s in business administration from New York University.
